The case for each
Bloodborne: FromSoftware's 2015 PlayStation 4 game: a hunter in the gothic city of Yharnam, where a blood plague turns into cosmic horror. Faster and more aggressive than Souls, and fans still wait for a PC version.
Dark Souls: FromSoftware's 2011 game of a cursed undead in the fading kingdom of Lordran: hard but fair combat, bonfires and an interconnected world. 'The Dark Souls of…' became a phrase for anything difficult.
